Commissioner Message from Larry Adelman:

Subject: Excitement!!

To all players, managers, and fellow commissioners.  This promises to be the most exciting year ever in the Beachwood Men's Softball League!!  The league boasts over a 50-year history as a testament to its stability and organization.  The advent this year of playing games at Solon fields, in addition to the traditional fields of Fairmount and Hilltop elementary fields in Beachwood,  has opened up a new format for recruiting players from extended areas.  The league also offers a longtime tradition of fathers, sons, sons-in-law, and friends to be able to play together.

This year we will also look forward to the prospect of many other new aspects and innovations of the league including the establishment of a "Hall of Fame" (also a significant enticement to attract and retain quality ballplayers), an All-Star game, our current and expanding Website (manned ably by Todd Adelman and Rodd Gilbert), additional charity work, and many other positive features that will contribute to the ongoing betterment of our league.

Congratulations to all of you for being an integral part of our historical, but ever-growing league.
