Who is the team to beat this year? Talent is spread out throughout the league, should be the closest season yet! I nominate there should be an MVP award,, for best player, nominated by all 16 managers

Go Green Machine! Hoping that we win it all this year! Best of luck to all teams including the new Managers.
Congratulations to Team Purple on winning EVERYTHING this year. A truly dominant team with phenomenal players truly deserving! Also, very proud of my Team ORANGE! We may not have been the "sexiest" team on paper and no one will ever care or remember who had the second best overall record, but when it comes to comraderie, heart, unselfishness, passion, and never quitting or believing...to me we finished at the top and what a GREAT SUMMER!!. In this most competive season I can ever remember, I also want to thank the commissioners, managers, as well as Todd Adelman and Rodd Gilbert with the great website for working TOGETHER to making our league one of the BEST once more!
GREAT SEASON EVERYONE!
In keeping up with the league's "Extrodinary Occurences"----and following Bill Matejka's spectular catch 2 weeks ago, Pitcher David Marcus of the "Black" Team set a new Beachwood's Men's Softball League record for minimum pitches for 2 innings. Dave retired 6 men on 7 pitches in a 2-inning stint vs. the Orange team. And---the extra pitch was a strike--for good measure. The previous record was set in 1965 with 9 pitches. (I think!!). Great job, Dave.

Teams looked stacked! There should be parity this year! Todd, thanks for all the time you put into the web site and adding all the drafted players onto our team rosters!
